The Interior Design contest #InterCIDEC 2019 has increased its Participants

globo terráqueo

This great phrase was shared by the great Guillermo del Toro while he received the first Oscar for a Mexican director, and all passionate artists identified with him. Entrepreneurship has neither ages nor places!

The projects submitted to the InterCIDEC ’19 competition came from 12 countries, including Italy, United Kingdom, France, Holland, United States, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile or Peru.

In this sense, committed as we are with our trinity of values, -Differentiation, Detail, and Quality-, we closed our INTERCIDEC interior design contest, that this year celebrates its 4th edition, with more participants than ever. We are very happy about this high participation, which strengthens InterCIDEC as a quality competition for interior design professionals and companies in the hotel sector.

Top Jury vs Top Prize

This year’s jury is represented by personalities of proven experience in the Hospitality niche. Therefore, this year the designer Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada will be the president of the contest, who will be accompanied during the deliberations, on October 17, by a cast of renowned professionals of interior design and architecture.

Passionate about furniture design voices

This is the case of Andrea Spada, Italian based in Madrid and cofounder of IlmioDesign; the Galician Loli Moroño from PF1 Estudio, specialised in Hospitality; the Valencian Pepe Cosín, from Cosín Estudio, and David Puerta, founder of Viruta Lab, who won InterCIDEC 2018; the Balearic interior designer Damián Pujol; or the architects and interior designers of Zaragoza, Carlos Beamonte and Ricardo Vallejo. The color expert, Eva Muñoz, who has worked for Seat or Lamborghini and represents Spradling, -the leading manufacturer of fabrics with covers-, will also be there.

The vision of hotel companies, recipients of the work done by designers, architects, and interior designers will be given by Soho Boutique Hotels and Sirenis Hoteles, two chains that represent urban and beach resorts, respectively. As a communication professional there has been invited Cesáreo Martín, a journalist who has worked for international agencies such as Reuters, Associated Press, or United Press, among others, in different parts of the world.

From the academic field, in addition to Pepe Cosín, who is Dean of the College of Interior Designers of the Valencian Community, will be, as secretary of the jury, Amparo Balbastre, director.

The jury will meet at the facilities of Beltá & Frajumar on Thursday, October 17. The delivery and communication of the winner will be on November 7 in Madrid in the event room Como, next to Comunica + A.
