Given the current crisis situation caused by COVID-19 and in order to help you pass a better quarantine, from Beltá & Frajumar we want to offer you activities to take advantage of this time at home, to entertain yourself and also to learn, activities that encourage imagination and creativity. In this way we cannot think of a better idea than to encourage you to prepare your project for the 5th edition of InterCIDEC.
InterCIDEC, the International Contract Environment Design Contest, is a platform for innovative, high-end and sustainable proposals, generated from the analysis of emerging needs, on the one hand, by hotel users and, on the other, by the environment.
This year, in its 5th edition, in addition to having a category for new projects, it includes one of successful works already completed. Thus, the contest offers the opportunity to award the best projects for sustainable tourist apartments.
The UN General Assembly adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, an action plan for people, the planet and prosperity, which also intends to strengthen universal peace and access to justice.
After having COP25 in Spain, the Climate Change Congress, we asked ourselves: what can we contribute? Along these lines, this year’s theme for the InterCIDEC Award is the interior design of a sustainable tourist apartment, which may include a kitchen, terrace and bathroom.
It will be valued, above all, the environmental value and sustainable proposals, both in the quality of the design and in the creative skills of the author.
The 5th edition of the contest presents two categories. The first, the Genesis category, consists of creating a new design proposal for sustainable urban tourist apartment plans of approximately 40 to 60m². If you want your project to be realized and made known, share it! Download the plan here.
As a newness this year, the 5th edition of the contest presents a new category, the Work category, in which you can share a work or project of sustainable urban tourist apartment already done and executed in recent years, regardless of whether it has been done for a company or particular.
The winners will be chosen by an independent jury made up of prestigious professionals related to architecture, interior design, decoration and design, media, Official Colleges of Architects and Interior Designers, and hotel companies, which will assess the conceptual proposal, innovation, and environmental value. and accessibility.
