NMASA Design
Designer
NMASA Design is a design studio based in Malmö, Sweden, whose work focuses on creating value-added products and experiences, craftsmanship 2.0 and exploring solutions to the sustainability challenges facing the industry. The studio works with companies and organizations from different sectors, among which the manufacturing of furniture and other objects of daily use stands out.
At the head of NMASA Design is the industrial designer Javier Masa. Its approach is characterized by an unprejudiced view, where archetypes, traditions and other unwritten laws are analyzed and questioned as a way of seeking innovative solutions on a functional, aesthetic and/or emotional level. His academic and professional itinerary has passed through various parts of the world where the relationship with objects and the way of understanding design are clearly different. His experiences in the large cities of Barcelona and Milan, as well as Scandinavia and the United States have forged in him a global perspective, giving him the ability to understand complex problems and empathize with different types of users.
