"The reinvention of hotel spaces" as the protagonist of this edition.
The situation caused by the health crisis suffered by the COVID-19 has manifested a major paradigm shift in the hotel sector and has been a major economic challenge for companies forcing in many cases to diversify their resources. Therefore, the theme of this edition is based on the reinvention and design of a multifunctional hotel space with the aim of adapting these spaces to new activities such as turning a hotel lobby into a showcooking or a fashion show.
With a large number of projects from more than 6 different countries, including Spain, France, Italy and Cuba, InterCIDEC has already established itself as a benchmark platform in the Contract channel for discovering new professional talent and as a showcase for new ideas and project proposals for companies in the hotel sector.

The InterCIDEC 2021 Jury’s decision will be made public at the awards ceremony to be held on November 4 at the emblematic Official College of Architects of Malaga at 18:00. The event will be attended by relevant figures from the hotel sector, interior designers and architects.
