An edition focused on tourist apartments, increasingly in demand by users
This fifth edition has closed with more than 70 proposals, from twelve countries, which will be evaluated by the jury in just a few days. The theme of this edition has focused on the interior design of a Sustainable Tourist Apartment, which is having so much acceptance by consumers and that, in their assessment, the environmental aspect and sustainable proposals both in the quality of the design and in the creative skills of the author or authors.
Most of the projects presented in this edition correspond to the category GÉNESIS, whose proposal deals with INTERIOR DESIGN of a Sustainable Tourist Apartment of between approximately 40 and 60m² (endowed with a single prize of 3000 euros in cash) and to a lesser extent to the new category CONSTRUCTION SITE, which refers to projects already carried out and executed by professionals (endowed with 3,000 euros in promotion and broadcasting in the media).
Regarding the origin of the projects, Spain leads the number of proposals
presented, followed by Mexico, Argentina, and European countries such as France, the United Kingdom, Italy and the Netherlands. Some of them presented projects for the first time.
The ruling of InterCIDEC 2020, in an extraordinary way, will be made public at the end of the Jury meeting, on the same day, October 8. Well, due to COVID limitations, it is not advisable to hold a specific event for the awards ceremony, as in previous editions. The winners of this edition will be announced publicly and will also be made known through the social media in which Beltá & Frajumar is present.
