InterCIDEC Awards 2025
For the 2025 edition of INTERCIDEC, we are embarking on a challenge that redefines the contemporary hotel experience: the design of a Multipurpose Suite.
This concept, which is becoming increasingly essential in the hospitality sector, responds to the needs of modern guests who seek flexibility, comfort, aesthetics and functionality in a single space. The room ceases to be a "place to sleep" and becomes a living environment capable of transforming itself according to the time of day and the user's activity.
Rest, work, wellbeing, socialising and privacy coexist under the same design, where fluid layout, lighting and materials enhance the sensory experience.
In this 10th edition, INTERCIDEC celebrated solutions that combine creativity, technique and sustainability, consolidating its position as a key meeting point for interior design, architecture, the furniture industry and hotel chains.
Without a doubt, the 2025 edition marks a milestone in hotel space design, showing how versatility is now the new way of understanding the room of the future.
Awarded Projects
At the 2025 edition of INTERCIDEC, the First Prize went to José Montesinos Valls for his project “OUTSIDETHEBOX”, a provocative and fluid suite that breaks the traditional boundaries of hotel space through curved lines, smooth transitions and masterful use of every square metre.
The first runner-up prize went to GAP Interiorismo (Gabriele Appierto) for “Suite Risseu”, a contemporary Mediterranean reinterpretation that combines well-being, calm and functionality in a natural and harmonious environment.
The second runner-up prize went to TOCHO Studio (Rodrigo de la Torre, Lucía García, Diego García) with “La Invitación” (The Invitation), a proposal that encourages users to explore, inhabit and transform the space, turning the room into a personal and emotional experience.

10th EDITION
Awards
The awards ceremony for the 10th edition took place at Frajumar’s headquarters in Yecla, which became the epicentre of contract design for the day. The event brought together nearly 200 professionals and featured high-level presentations, such as that by two-Michelin-starred chef Pablo González Conejero, as well as a debate on “The evolution of hotel design: from visual luxury to emotional experience”.
