Palo Cortado Restaurant
“The usual as never before.” This is how Palo Cortado restaurant is defined in Malaga, in southern Spain. The management team of this restaurant has created a cooking concept that has turned them to be a reference point in the province of Malaga. Since 20 years they present a high quality cuisine with a clear role in the markets cuisine and an elaborate wine list.
With the extension of his career, they also wanted to add the design of furniture products, –Muse chair and Chester bench- and the Beltá & Frajumar experience. Designed by the Paco Lago studio, the restaurant creates a gastronomic experience combining the staging of the place with culinary art. Despite the complexity of the project due to the exclusivity and volume of the pieces, the specifications of the interior design project have been fulfilled to the maximum.We offered solutions that respect the morphology and minimizing costs, in line with the needs of the client.
In addition, Paco Lago Interiorismo has been awarded for this interior architecture project by the German Design Award.
“We have officially received the fantastic news that our creative studio, Paco Lago Interiorismo, has been awarded the Excellent Architecture Award, Interior Architecture, for the prestigious international German Design Awards 2020. Awarded by the German Design Council, they reward those projects that communicate through design quality. The jury, composed of recognized experts in the fields of design, industry, academia and science, selects the winner from more than 1,500 nominations per category.
